Ruth and Neil | South Shields engagement

The day has arrived that Ruth and Neil tie the knot, so I thought I’d post this throwback of this fun shoot we did in South Shields!

Loved creating these images. The weather kept on changing so we managed to get some fun, candid shots in the cherry blossoms and then make use of the dramatic sky later on in the wonderful rapeseed fields.

So excited to capture some memories today, stay tuned for their wedding images!

SOUTH SHIELDS WEDDING | DEB AND PAUL

I was so excited when Deb and Paul asked me to photograph their wedding in South Shields, and even more excited when they revealed after booking that they had baby Nola on the way; Nola was such a delightful little model on the day and we captured some adorable moments. We shot some portraits around the reception venue, The Customs House. This is the location of many of my earliest photography memories, practicing with my 35mm film camera around the cobblestoned riverside. It was fun to re-visit the area for this great day. The pink hues of the bridal party’s lovely dresses made for some particularly stunning shots against the atmospheric river backdrop, not to mention the epic vintage style bus which gave us a scenic tour of the area.

It was a joy to shoot this wedding, thank you to Deb and Paul for asking me to be a part of this special day.
